We strongly urge all our customers to be measured by a professional alterations shop. This dress is one of the most important decisions you will make and because all items are special orders only a professional should fit you. We also recommend that you bring along the sizing chart provided by the designer when you go to get measured. Can I change the measurements of my dress after I've ordered? Because all dresses are special orders, the manufacturers won’t change an order after it’s been received. That is why we strongly urge you to get measured by a professional. What colors do you offer? All dresses and gowns on our site list the colors available for that specific style. Unfortunately manufactures only offer these colors. How long does shipping take? Making your dresses is a labor-intensive process and can take between 10 and 18 weeks to get to us from the manufacturer. We typically ship to you within a week. Sometimes unforeseen circumstance will delay your dress. In these rare cases we will work with you to make sure you receive your dress in as soon as is possible. Can you ship express? Yes. Express shipping, for and extra fee, is an option available during checkout. This is not the same as a rush order. ORDERING Orders are made online through our convenient easy checkout process. Online Shipping Policies Ø GownFind will ship to other destinations within and outside of the continental US including Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, UK, Australia and most other destinations serviced by UPS or the United States Postal Service. On all merchandise in stock, the shipment will leave our warehouse within 2-3 business days. Ordering Information Ordering Times are between 4-12 weeks for most wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses. Rush orders are possible, but you must contact us first for availablity. Sizing: Be careful when choosing your size because sizes often vary slightly between manufacturers. Your dress size does not automatically correspond to the manufacturers' sizing, so be sure to use their size charts, not your normal dress size. To help you select the right size, we have included manufacturer's size charts on this website. See our charts. If you are over 5'8" with shoes on, you should request extra length for your wedding gown or bridesmaid dress. Extra length costs 15% more, but it ensures that your dress will always fit right. When selecting from standard measurements, be sure to choose the larger one if your size falls between two sizes. This will make alterations possible. You must provide your Bust, Waist, and Hip measurement for us to complete your order. Always choose the size that corresponds to the largest of these three measurements. Thus, if your measurements are 32 (bust), 24 (waist), 34 (hips), then choose a size 6 (which has a 24 waist), even though your bust measurement is for a size 2.
